Jayden Reed Has Flex Appeal Against Steelers
one year ago

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed will go on the road to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 10. The rookie saw his snap share drop from 78% in Week 8 to 39% in Week 9, but he has still been targeted four or more times in all but two games this season. The return of Christian Watson from his injury back in Week 4 has made Reed take a bit of a back seat, but he has still looked like the most explosive option in the Packers' passing attack at times. With the Steelers allowing the fifth-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers this year and the pass rush set to give quarterback Jordan Love fits all night, the slot receiver could be in for a decent fantasy performance. There is no doubt that Watson and Romeo Doubs are the top two targets in this offense, but the Packers will do their best to keep turnovers at a minimum and get the ball out of Love's hands quickly. That should lead to an increased target share for Reed and make him a flex-worthy option on a week where four teams are on bye.
