Jayden Reed Gains 46 Total Yards In NFL Debut
one year ago

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed caught 2-of-5 targets for 48 yards and lost two yards on his lone carry during the team's 38-20 victory over the Chicago Bears. The rookie came into the game with an increased role due to the absence of Christian Watson (hamstring) and ended up tying with Romeo Doubs for the team lead in targets Sunday. Reed showed off some of his explosiveness on a 30-yard reception but sometimes struggled to get open. Watson's status for Week 2 is up in the air at this point. However, if he misses, the rookie will be in line to see a solid target share against a beatable Atlanta secondary. Reed will have flex value in deep leagues next week.
