Jayden Reed Could Have An Increased Role Against Minnesota

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed will face the Minnesota Vikings in Week 8. The rookie has flashed more than a few times this season but has yet to be targeted on a consistent enough basis to enter flex territory weekly. However, Reed's role could increase this week if tight end Luke Musgrave (ankle) misses this contest or has his snaps limited. The 23-year-old salvaged his fantasy performance last week with an impressive touchdown grab but failed to reach five targets for the third time in six games. With Minnesota struggling to stop wide receivers this year, that target share could be on the rise in Week 8. The Vikings give up the seventh-most fantasy points per game to the position and have allowed the most receptions to wide receivers. Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs are better options, but Reed could still be used as a flex option for those who are desperate this week.
