Jaycee Horn To Miss Multiple Weeks
one year ago

Carolina Panthers cornerback Jaycee Horn (hamstring), who missed 18 games in his first two seasons with injuries, will miss multiple weeks after suffering a hamstring injury in the Week 1 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, according to a league source. The eighth overall pick in 2021 will be replaced by veteran Troy Hill, who according to head coach Frank Reich played "well" after entering the game on Sunday. The 23-year-old Horn suffered a season-ending foot injury in Week 3 of his rookie season and missed the last four games of 2022 with a fractured wrist, so it's safe to say he's been a pretty big first-round bust for Carolina to this point. The Panthers aren't expecting to have him for their Monday night meeting against the New Orleans Saints in Week 2.
