Javonte Williams Injured In Week 4
one year ago

Denver Broncos running back Javonte Williams (hip) suffered a hip injury in the Week 4 game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday and is questionable to return. Before leaving, Williams saw two carries for no gain but did haul in all three of his targets through the air for nine yards. Undrafted rookie Jaleel McLaughlin has the team's only touchdown so far in this game in the first half, and he and Samaje Perine will split the backfield workload in this one if Williams isn't able to return. The Broncos had been easing Williams in through the first three weeks of the year after he suffered a season-ending knee injury in Week 4 of last year. When healthy, Williams is Denver's clear lead back, but he hadn't done much with double-digit carries in each of the first three weeks.
