Javonte Williams Expects To Be Listed As Questionable
one year ago

Denver Broncos running back Javonte Williams (quadriceps) said he expects to be listed as questionable for the Week 5 game on Sunday against the New York Jets. Williams didn't practice at all on Wednesday before returning to a limited session on Thursday, so he has a chance to play this weekend. The problem is he could be a game-time decision, and the Broncos play in the late-afternoon window while at home in Week 5, so fantasy managers will have limited options if they roll the dice with him in their starting lineup. Undrafted rookie Jaleel McLaughlin has looked better than Samaje Perine through four weeks and figures to see a sizeable role against a vulnerable Jets run defense on Sunday if Williams is ruled out or limited. UPDATE: Williams put in a full practice Friday, so he appears to be on the right side of questionable this week.
