Jason Kelce To Make Official Retirement Announcement "In The Future"

Philadelphia Eagles star center Jason Kelce said he'll make an official announcement about the status of his NFL career "in the future." Multiple reports suggested that Kelce planned to retire from the NFL following the Eagles' wild-card loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night after he completed his 13th season in the NFL. "I just don't think you're in a position after a game like that to make that decision," Kelce told his brother, Travis, during their podcast. A sixth-round selection in 2011, Kelce was an underdog story and eventually earned his sixth All-Pro selection in his age-36 season in 2023. He has discussed retirement both privately and publicly over the past year, so it would be a surprise if he didn't eventually officially announce his retirement after a disappointing end to what was looking like another promising year for Philadelphia.
