Jaren Hall Still In Concussion Protocol
one year ago

Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell confirmed that quarterback Jaren Hall (concussion) was placed in concussion protocol following Sunday's 31-28 win over the Atlanta Falcons and won't be an option to start Week 10 versus the New Orleans Saints, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. It sets up the recently acquired Joshua Dobbs, who will reportedly receive all of the first-team practice reps this week, to get the nod against the Saints after his unlikely heroics led the Week 9 victory in Atlanta. Nick Mullens (back) could be designated to return from injured reserve this week, per Ben Goessling of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, and would likely serve as the backup if he is activated and Hall can't pass protocol ahead of play. Hall appears to be a safe drop during fantasy's upcoming waiver-wire runs in redraft leagues.
