Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff enjoyed one of the best seasons of his career last year, throwing for 4,438 yards, 29 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. The veteran signal-caller posted the 10th-most fantasy points at the position last year. Last season, Kansas City allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks, and this Thursday night season-opener should be a high-scoring affair. Although Jameson Williams (suspension) is out, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Sam LaPorta, Marvin Jones Jr., Josh Reynolds, and Jahmyr Gibbs should provide Goff enough firepower to post at least a high-end QB2 performance.
