James Houston Out At Least 6-8 Weeks
one year ago

Detroit Lions pass-rusher James Houston (ankle) suffered a fractured ankle in the Week 2 overtime loss to the Seattle Seahawks, according to sources, and he's expected to be knocked out at least six to eight weeks. Houston will have more testing on his ankle on Monday to determine if he'll need surgery and how much longer he will be held out. The 24-year-old former sixth-round selection last year had eight sacks in seven games (two starts) in his rookie season. In two games this year before his injury, Houston had no sacks and just one solo tackle for the Lions.
