James Daniels Expects To Be Fully Healthy By Training Camp
a week ago

Miami Dolphins offensive guard James Daniels (Achilles), who tore his Achilles in Week 4 while playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers last year, said he expects to be fully healthy for training camp this summer. "I'm going to be fully healthy when the season starts," Daniels said. Although it was early in the year, the 27-year-old former second-round pick of the Chicago Bears in 2018 out of Iowa was in the midst of a career season before suffering his season-ending injury. Daniels looked great at right guard the last three years in Pittsburgh, but he also has experience on the left side and at center. Where Daniels plays in his first year in Miami in 2025 will likely depend on whether Terron Armstead decides to retire. Miami added Daniels on a three-year, $24 million deal earlier this month, and they hope he can shore up a rushing offense that finished 21st in 2024.
