James Cook Stumbles In Sunday’s Loss
one year ago

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook took five carries for negative-four yards with three catches for 25 yards in Week 5's 25-20 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Cook had a miserable day on the ground, going backward for two yards on three carries in the first half and taking two more attempts for another negative-two yards in the second half. It was simply a dreadful day in the trenches, as quarterback Josh Allen led the way with just 14 rushing yards. Cook's receiving output kept his fantasy day from utter ruins, but he now has 25 rush yards over his last 17 carries since last Sunday. The silver lining is that the 24-year-old soundly out-snapped power backs Latavius Murray and Damien Harris. Cook will look to shake off this setback in a prime opportunity to do so in Week 6 versus an awful New York Giants defense.
