James Cook Hanging Onto RB2 Value
one year ago

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook saw a new veteran join the club when the organization scooped up Leonard Fournette off the street on Monday. Luckily for Cook, Fournette will reportedly be inactive on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals after Buffalo chose to not promote the 28-year-old from their practice squad ahead of time. Cook ranks top eight at his position in both rushing yards (486) and receiving yards (192) but has just two touchdowns this season. The Bengals have allowed the third-fewest catches (26) to opposing tailbacks, boding poorly for the 24-year-old elusive back (10.7 yards per catch). Cook is likely to continue losing red-zone chances to Latavius Murray, so he remains a midrange RB2 in Week 9's potential track meet in Cincinnati.
