James Conner Remains Limited At Practice
one year ago

Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner (calf) remained a limited participant at practice on Thursday. Conner should be fine to play in a Week 2 matchup at home against the New York Giants, but he was seen wearing a sleeve on his calf during practice on Thursday. The 28-year-old is Arizona's unquestioned lead back as long as he's healthy, but the problem is that the Cardinals offense will likely be one of the worst in the NFL this year under quarterbacks Joshua Dobbs and rookie Clayton Tune with Kyler Murray (knee) uncertain to even play this year. Conner will once again operate as a volume-based, low-end RB2/high-end RB3 with a low ceiling and floor this Sunday in the desert.
