James Conner "Feeling OK" Following Knee Injury
one year ago

Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner (knee) twisted his knee after a long run in the second quarter and did not return in Sunday's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Following the game, Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon said the veteran back is "feeling OK" but his status for Week 6 is still up in the air. Undrafted rookie Emari Demercado shouldered the workload with Conner on the sidelines. There are a lot of questions about the immediate future of the Arizona backfield. In addition to Conner, Keaontay Ingram (neck) missed his second-straight game. Demercado could be the starter in Week 6 if both Conner and Ingram miss the contest. Arizona travels to Los Angeles to face the Rams on Sunday.
