Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner (knee) came back from Injured Reserve last week and turned 16 carries into 73 yards in the team's 25-23 win against the Atlanta Falcons. Upon his return, he immediately overtook the Cardinals backfield, as no other back received more than three carries. Even though he missed the last four games, Conner still boasts the fifth-best explosive run rate, the 10th-highest missed tackle rate, and the seventh-best yards-after-contact rate in the league. Despite these impressive numbers, in Week 11 Conner will go up against the Houston Texans. Since Week 5, the Houston defense has been one of the best in the NFL against the run. They allow the fourth-lowest explosive run rate and the ninth-lowest yards after contact per attempt. Conner may have difficulty finding some running room, and as such, remains an RB2.
