Jamal Adams Set To Practice In Full This Week
one year ago

Seattle Seahawks safety Jamal Adams (quad) is set to practice in full this week, per Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News-Tribune. Head coach Pete Carroll told reporters on Monday that the veteran safety is set to practice in full this week. "The plan is for him to have a full week of regular practice and take all the reps that we can get him. That means no restrictions," Caroll said. The head coach later added, "I don't foresee any problems with that." This doesn't necessarily mean that Adams, who tore his quad in Week 1 of the 2022 season, will play against the Carolina Panthers in Week 3, but it's a step in the right direction. The team will monitor his progress this week and see how he handles practice. It's worth noting that Gregg Bell said a more realistic target for Adams to return would be Week 4 against the New York Giants. Whenever Adams does make it back to the Seahawks, it should be a boon for their defense. Even if he's more of a box safety, his ability to rush the quarterback adds a dynamic dimension to the Seattle defense. They're a trendy streaming option in Week 3 against the Panthers.
