Jamal Adams Expected To Clear Concussion Protocol
one year ago

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said that safety Jamal Adams (concussion) is expected to clear the league's concussion protocol on Tuesday. In his season debut in Week 4 against the New York Giants after missing all of last year with a torn quadriceps muscle, Adams suffered a concussion and was ruled out of the game. The 27-year-old was visibly upset with the league's independent concussion doctor and had to be separated from him on the sidelines, but Adams won't face any discipline from the NFL. The bye came at the right time for Adams, though, and he should be able to suit up this Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals as long as he doesn't have any setbacks at practice this week.
