Jamaal Williams Expected To Play On Thursday Night Football

New Orleans Saints running back Jamaal Williams (hamstring) is expected to be activated off of injured reserve in time to suit up for Thursday Night Football against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The veteran has spent the last four games on the shelf with the hamstring issue. He picked up three straight limited practices this week. Williams will slide into a backup role behind starter Alvin Kamara. Rookie Kendre Miller may mix in as well. Williams is worthy of a spot on fantasy football rosters but does not need to be in any starting lineups.
