Jamaal Williams Activated From Injured Reserve

The New Orleans Saints activated running back Jamaal Williams (hamstring) from Injured Reserve on Thursday and waived running back Jordan Mims in a corresponding move. The Saints also elevated offensive tackle Cameron Erving and linebacker Jaylon Smith from the practice squad to the active 53-man roster and signed offensive guard Tommy Kraemer to the active roster from the practice squad. Williams is expected to return for the first time since Week 2 for Thursday night's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars despite being listed as questionable. Even if the 28-year-old is active, though, he won't be a recommended Week 7 flex. Williams will likely be limited in what could become a three-headed monster between Williams, Alvin Kamara and rookie Kendre Miller.
