Jalen Ramsey Status Unclear For Week 8

Miami Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey (knee) returned to practice last week for the first time since suffering a torn MCL during training camp. The six-time Pro Bowler did not suit up against the Philadelphia Eagles last week, but he could make his 2023 debut in a matchup with the New England Patriots in Week 8. However, defensive coordinator Vic Fangio it's "yet to be determined" if Ramsey will play. He was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. The 29-year-old would provide a huge boost for the Miami secondary, especially since defensive backs Xavien Howard (groin), Kader Kohou (neck), Nik Needham (Achilles), and Cam Smith (foot) are all dealing with bumps and bruises.
