Jaleel McLaughlin Not Worth Starting In Week 12
12 months ago

Denver Broncos rookie running back Jaleel McLaughlin isn't seeing enough volume of late behind lead back Javonte Williams to warrant a starting lineup in standard-sized fantasy leagues. The 23-year-old did have a career-high five catches for 14 yards in last week's win over the Vikings, but he saw only one carry and hasn't had more than eight touches during the team's four-game winning streak. On top of the lowered workload, McLaughlin and the Broncos will be facing the best defense in the NFL this weekend in the Cleveland Browns. The Broncos offense, which hasn't exactly been lighting up the scoreboard, figures to struggle to move the ball consistently on Sunday, which will probably mean even fewer chances for McLaughlin. At best right now, he should be considered a handcuff for Williams in deeper fantasy leagues.
