Jaleel McLaughlin Has Quiet Week 7 Performance
one year ago

Denver Broncos rookie running back Jaleel McLaughlin took more of a back seat to lead back Javonte Williams in the 19-17 Week 7 win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday in Denver. Even though McLaughlin only had six touches compared to Williams' 18, the undrafted rookie still managed to impress with 45 yards rushing on only five carries -- he averaged nine yards per tote and busted off a game-high 23-yard gain at one point. He added a one-yard reception on his two targets through the air. The main takeaway is that the 23-year-old remains incredibly efficient while being extremely elusive and slippery with the ball in his hands in his first year in the NFL. McLaughlin is the clear handcuff for those that have Williams rostered and he's also becoming a decent RB3/flex option in fantasy leagues.
