Jakobi Meyers Remains Out With Concussion
one year ago

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (concussion) remains in the league's concussion protocol and didn't practice on Thursday for the second straight day. Meyers took a shot to the head late in the Week 1 win over the Denver Broncos and is in danger of missing the Week 2 road contest in Buffalo against the Bills this Sunday. The 26-year-old still has two days to gain clearance, but right now it's not looking good for him. In his Raiders debut last weekend, Meyers was a favorite of quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, catching nine of 10 targets for 81 yards and two touchdowns. If he cannot get cleared in time for Sunday's game, Hunter Renfrow and Kristian Wilkerson should see expanded roles behind No. 1 wideout Davante Adams in a tough matchup.
