Jakobi Meyers Officially Ruled Out
one year ago

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (concussion) remains in the league's concussion protocol and has officially been ruled out for Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills after initially being ruled as doubtful to play. Meyers had a successful debut with the Raiders in the Week 1 win over the Denver Broncos and caught two touchdown passes, but he took a helmet-to-helmet hit late in the contest and now will miss Week 2. Fantasy managers should be removing him from their starting lineups for this weekend. Top wideout Davante Adams could be busy in a tough road matchup against the Bills and is a must-start WR1, while Hunter Renfrow now becomes a lot more interesting as a DFS sleeper play with Meyers set to be inactive. Tight ends Austin Hooper and rookie Michael Mayer should have bigger roles as well.
