San Francisco 49ers kicker Jake Moody has started his career so far with a perfect body of work, hitting all nine field goal attempts and all 15 extra point tries. While he has shown in quick order that he is worthy of starter consideration most weeks, fantasy managers may want to look elsewhere when the 49ers host the Dallas Cowboys in Week 5. Dallas' defense has allowed the second-fewest yards per game thus far in 2023 so San Francisco might not live in their opponent's territory this week like they've grown accustomed to doing. Although it might not be worthwhile to drop Moody or a bench player to pick up a better option at kicker, fantasy managers should temper their expectations of Moody this week.
