Jake Bobo Steps Up In DK Metcalf's Absence
one year ago

With Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf (hip, ribs) missing the first game of his career in Week 7 against the Arizona Cardinals, rookie Jake Bobo stepped up and caught four of his five targets for 61 yards and the second touchdown of his career in the 20-10 win on Sunday. The 25-year-old undrafted rookie wideout played a team-high 75 percent of the offensive snaps among the receivers and was just two yards off the team high for receiving yards behind fellow rookie Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who also scored against Arizona. It was a nice showing for Bobo, who now has eight catches for 112 yards and two TDs in his first six NFL games. However, he's likely to fade back into obscurity if Metcalf is able to return for a Week 8 matchup against the Cleveland Browns.
