Jake Bobo Makes Impact In Week 7
one year ago

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jake Bobo caught four of his five targets in Week 7 for 61 yards and a touchdown. The rookie made a name for himself in the preseason with outstanding efforts on offense and special teams but has had a hard time finding his way into regular season action with DK Metcalf (hip, ribs), Tyler Lockett, and fellow rookie Jaxon Smith-Njigba all ahead of him in the pecking order. It was Metcalf's absence due to injury that opened the door for Bobo's increased use and he actually drew more snaps on Sunday than any of Seattle's other receivers. If Metcalf returns in Week 8, Bobo will get pushed back down the depth chart, and even if he doesn't the Seahawks will be up against the stifling secondary of the Cleveland Browns.
