Jaire Alexander 50/50 To Play Against Cowboys
10 months ago

Green Bay Packers star cornerback Jaire Alexander (ankle), who was listed as questionable for Sunday's wild-card playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys, is viewed as 50/50 to play. Alexander's 2023 season has been full of injuries, and he suffered an ankle injury in practice on Thursday that has him up in the air to play in Dallas on Sunday. Not having Alexander in their secondary would be really bad news as the Packers try to slow down the highest-scoring offense in the NFL and star wideout CeeDee Lamb. Even if Alexander is cleared to play, the Packers defense won't be the smartest DFS play this weekend. The 26-year-old former first-rounder has played in only seven games this season and has 27 tackles (23 solo), five passes defensed and one forced fumble. If the All-Pro defensive back is inactive, expect Keisean Nixon Corey Ballentine to see increased playing time.
