Jahmyr Gibbs Remains High-Upside Running Back Play

Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs has cooled off in recent weeks, totaling just 15.2 half-PPR fantasy points in his last two games. The rookie speedster had a four-week stretch with at least 18.5 fantasy points, but David Montgomery is now healthy and commanding plenty of touches. However, Gibbs has still been efficient as a runner during his rough patch, posting 114 rushing yards on just 19 carries. His receiving workload has been the biggest issue, compiling just five catches for 13 yards in Week 12 and Week 13. The weekly touch distribution in the Lions backfield could vary week-to-week, so although Gibbs is no longer a "safe" play, he still has upside thanks to his big-play potential and receiving role. The Chicago Bears have surrendered the third-most receptions to running backs this season (6.1), so he has a real chance to get back on track in Sunday's NFC North contest.
