Jahmyr Gibbs Draws Nine Targets In Loss
one year ago

Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs rushed seven times for 17 yards and caught seven of his nine targets for 39 yards in the overtime loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Fellow running back David Montgomery (thigh) left the game early, setting up Gibbs to play the majority of passing downs. The rookie's stat line did not help fantasy managers in standard leagues, but his seven receptions were enough to make him a decent play in PPR formats. If Montgomery has to miss time moving forward, he should see his role increase dramatically. It's worth noting Craig Reynolds could see touches alongside him.
