Jaguars Hope Trevor Lawrence Can Play Thursday Night
one year ago

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence (knee) practiced in a limited capacity on Tuesday with a brace on his left knee, and the Jaguars hope that he can play on Thursday night against the New Orleans Saints. Meanwhile, backup C.J. Beathard took most of the first-team repetitions in practice on Tuesday. Lawrence took part in individual drills during the portion of practice open to the media on Tuesday, giving him a chance to play in Week 7 after he hurt his knee in the Week 6 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. All signs are pointing toward the 24-year-old suiting up on Thursday night, but we probably won't know for sure until 90 minutes before kickoff. Lawrence will be on the QB1/2 borderline this week against a tough Saints defense if he plays in Week 7.
