Jaguars Expect Trevor Lawrence To Start Thursday Night
one year ago

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said he expects quarterback Trevor Lawrence (knee) to start on Thursday night against the New Orleans Saints, pending a pregame workout. Lawrence has reported improvement in his mild left-knee sprain and said he's confident he will be out there in Week 7 after getting hurt in the Week 6 win over the Indianapolis Colts. The 24-year-old will be a game-time decision on Thursday night, but all signs are pointing toward him being active in a tough matchup on the road against the Saints. At less than 100 percent in a less-than-ideal matchup on the road, Lawrence profiles more as a high-end QB2 in fantasy leagues this week if he's active. Check back later to see if he gets the green light.
