Jadeveon Clowney Plans To Visit With Jets

Free-agent pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney is scheduled to make a visit with the New York Jets after his visit with the Carolina Panthers. After what seemed like a slow beginning to the offseason is now heating up for the former first-round pick. The 31-year-old certainly did enough last season to earn himself a multi-year deal this offseason. Last season, Clowney finished with 43 tackles and 9.5 sacks in 17 games with the Baltimore Ravens. As expected, Clowney should have multiple suitors this offseason. On paper, Clowney would be better off signing with the more competitive roster in New York, but it all depends on what kind of deals these teams are willing to offer him.
