Washington Commanders quarterback Jacoby Brissett will make his first start of the year in Week 17 against the San Francisco 49ers. This move comes after the veteran replaced Sam Howell in each of the last two games. Howell has flashed at times this season, but he ultimately hasn't been consistent and has thrown 19 touchdowns to 17 interceptions. The Commanders are sitting at 4-11 and currently tracking to pick No. 3 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft. Brissett has impressed in limited action, completing 18 of his 23 passing attempts for 224 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions in two games. The matchup with the fierce 49ers defense keeps him off the fantasy radar in single-QB formats.
