Ja'Marr Chase Salvages Score In Garbage Time
12 months ago

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase finished Week 11's 34-20 defeat to the Baltimore Ravens with two receptions on seven targets for 12 yards and a touchdown. Chase left his fantasy managers searching for more after three quarters, reeling in just one pass for 10 yards that came in the first period. A deep pass just pulled the 23-year-old out of bounds on what would have been a big play in the third period. Chase provided managers with a usable result after he hauled in a two-yard score in the waning moments of the loss. The entire Bengals offense took a hit when inexperienced second-string quarterback Jake Browning had to step in for an injured Joe Burrow (wrist) on Thursday. Still, Browning may have shown enough competence to perhaps keep Chase in the low-tier WR1 mix for a more forgiving matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 12 if Burrow isn't healthy enough to play.
