Isiah Pacheco Won't Practice Wednesday

Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco (shoulder) will not take part in practice on Wednesday. Pacheco didn't practice at all last week due to his shoulder injury and was inactive in the Week 14 loss to the Buffalo Bills. He's not off to a good start so far this week and will need to get in some work either Thursday or Friday if he wants to return to the field this Sunday against the New England Patriots. The 24-year-old isn't expected to land on Injured Reserve, which would keep him out until the postseason, but it doesn't mean he won't miss another game in Week 15. If Pacheco sits out a second straight contest, Clyde Edwards-Helaire will serve as the early down back, with Jerick McKinnon seeing an increase in workload as the pass-catching specialist out of the KC backfield.
