Isiah Pacheco Manages 70 Scoreless Yards In Sunday’s Win
one year ago

Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco carried the ball 12 times for 70 yards and caught one pass for no gain in Sunday's 17-9 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The 24-year-old started this one after seeing Clyde Edwards-Helaire embrace that role in Week 1, but it was hardly noticeable after the Chiefs ran 11 pass plays to one run in the first quarter. Pacheco saw two first-half touches for four yards while K.C.'s offense couldn't find much of a rhythm, leaving little chance for any Chiefs RB to get off to a fast start. He emerged with a 31-yard scamper to begin the second half to kick-start an eventual Chiefs touchdown drive, and operated as their primary ball carrier with a lead down the stretch. Pacheco's Week 1 receiving output may have been a fluke, though, as Jerick McKinnon and CEH occupied most of that usage in this one. Pacheco remains the superior fantasy play of the three going forward after his backfield mates accounted for negative yardage on the ground in this one.
