Isiah Pacheco A Candidate For Injured Reserve?

When asked if Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco (shoulder) will need to go on Injured Reserve, head coach Andy Reid said, "We'll see." Pacheco missed practice all week and has officially been ruled out for Week 14 against the Buffalo Bills, and it's looking like he might need to miss additional time. He's still being evaluated for an injury to the same shoulder that he hurt in 2022. If Pacheco goes on IR, he'll be forced to miss at least the next four games, which would be a worst-case scenario for the Chiefs and his fantasy managers. At least with Pacheco out this weekend, former first-rounder Clyde Edwards-Helaire will be the starter on early downs, with Jerick McKinnon (groin) returning from a two-game absence to take on more volume as a pass-catching option out of the backfield. McKinnon will be more attractive in PPR fantasy leagues.
