He'll have further testing and an assessment on how he's gripping the football throughout the week. The Rams also aren't ruling out Injured Reserve for Stafford, which would cause him to miss at least four games. At the very least, it seems unlikely that Stafford will play in Week 9 against the Packers. If the 35-year-old misses any time, backup Brett Rypien would take over for LA's offense.
