Hunter Henry Quickly Becoming Non-Factor
one year ago

New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry has suddenly fallen off the fantasy football map and is not a reliable option ahead of Week 9 versus the Washington Commanders. Consistently playing between 80 and 90 percent of snaps during his first five games this year, the 28-year-old hasn't seen a snap share above 62 percent over the last three weeks. Henry has just six catches for 62 yards since Week 5, and while he continues to see more opportunities than fellow tight end Mike Gesicki, it's tough to trust him in fantasy football. With that said, his one saving grace may be a season-ending injury to Mac Jones' favorite target, Kendrick Bourne (ACL). With Bourne done for the year, Henry has a chance to step up once again and return to his early-season form. That's purely speculation, though, and for the time being, he can be left on waivers.
