Hayden Hurst Not Seen At Thursday's Practice
12 months ago

Carolina Panthers tight end Hayden Hurst (concussion) did not practice on Thursday. That makes two consecutive DNPs for Hurst with a concussion, which doesn't exactly spell optimism for his chances of playing on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. The 30-year-old veteran will need to log some form of activity on Friday if he wants much of a chance of being active in Week 11, but he also needs to pass concussion protocol to gain clearance. More would be asked of Tommy Tremble if Hurst is ultimately inactive, but Ian Thomas (calf) could also work his way back from injured reserve. Even with Stephen Sullivan (shoulder) not practicing, this is a shy-away spot for fantasy purposes with a struggling Bryce Young at the helm and a midseason shift in play-calling duties for Carolina.
