Giants Release Mark Glowinski

The New York Giants officially released offensive guard Mark Glowinski on Monday. This was an expected move this offseason, and with the move, the Giants will pick up around $7.5 million in 2024 salary cap savings while leaving a $1.5 million dead-money charge. The writing was on the wall for Glowinski when general manager Joe Schoen didn't restructure the three-year deal he signed in 2022. In addition to that, the 31-year-old lost his starting spot this past season at right guard. Glowinski will not be part of the team's offensive line in 2024, which will be under new command under position coach Carmen Bricillo. The former fourth-round pick of the Seattle Seahawks in 2015 will now be looking to latch on with a new team this offseason after spending the last two seasons in the Big Apple.
