The New York Giants are not expected to move star running back Saquon Barkley before the NFL trade deadline at the end of October, according to sources. The face of the franchise recently expressed interest in staying in the Big Apple. Barkley suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 2 and returned last Sunday night to carry the ball 24 times for 93 yards while adding four catches on five targets for additional five yards in just his third game of the 2023 season. After being questionable to play in Week 6, he was removed from the Week 7 injury report and is a full-go for a divisional matchup against the Washington Commanders. Barkley should see heavy volume with quarterback Daniel Jones (neck) out a second straight week, but remember he'll be running behind a patchwork Giants offensive line yet again.
