Giants Activate Tyrod Taylor From Injured Reserve
12 months ago

The New York Giants activated quarterback Tyrod Taylor (ribs) from Injured Reserve on Monday, although rookie Tommy Devito will make the start on Monday Night Football against the Green Bay Packers. It's possible that the Giants consider Taylor for a start in Week 15 against the New Orleans Saints if DeVito lays an egg on Monday on what will be just his fourth NFL start. Daniel Jones (knee) is done for the rest of the year, so it will be either DeVito or Taylor under center for the G-Men for the final four games in 2023. The 34-year-old Taylor went 1-2 in his three starts for New York before going on IR, going 46-for-72 for 487 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in those three starts. Neither DeVito nor Taylor should be considered anything more than a desperation QB2 option in fantasy leagues that start two quarterbacks.
