George Pickens Shut Down In Week 9
one year ago

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens secured just two of his five targets, losing one yard in a 20-16 victory over the Tennessee Titans. It was a brutal showing for Pickens, who failed to get his left foot down in the end zone on a would-be touchdown in the third quarter. The 22-year-old has been out-targeted by Diontae Johnson 29-to-18 since the veteran's return in Week 7. Pickens continues to offer plenty of upside but will be difficult to depend on for fantasy purposes as the secondary option in a Steelers offense averaging fewer than 17 points per game. He'll hope to get back on track in a Week 10 matchup against the Green Bay Packers.
