George Pickens Scores In Week 8 Loss
one year ago

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens finished with one reception, a 22-yard touchdown, on five targets in the team's Week 8 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Pickens was responsible for Pittsburgh's only touchdown of the contest, which came late in the third quarter on a strike from backup quarterback Mitch Trubisky. The 22-year-old was otherwise outshined by Diontae Johnson, who tallied eight receptions on 14 targets. Pickens will have a lower floor for fantasy purposes if Kenny Pickett (ribs) is forced to miss time, but his ceiling will remain high as the primary deep threat in the offense. He'll hope to be more involved in a Week 9 bout with the Tennessee Titans.
