George Kittle Leads Team In Receiving Monday Night
one year ago

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle continued his roller-coaster pattern of fantasy production in Monday night's 22-17 loss to the Vikings in Minnesota. He turned his seven targets into five catches for a team-leading 78 yards receiving and added two yards on one carry. It was a welcome sight for fantasy managers who stuck with Kittle after a dismal one-target, one-catch, one-yard performance against the Browns in Week 6. Kittle's only three touchdowns this year came in one game against Dallas and he has some work to do if he wants to match his 11 touchdowns from a season ago, which was second only to Kansas City's future Hall of Famer Travis Kelce. However, at this point last year Kittle only had one touchdown and then exploded for seven scores in his final four games. The ultimate boom/bust player at the ultimate boom/bust position will remain a TE1 when the 49ers host the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8.
