George Kittle Chips In Three Catches Sunday
one year ago

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle didn't find much involvement in his team's passing attack during Sunday's Week 2 win over the Rams in Los Angeles. He finished the afternoon with three receptions on as many targets for 30 yards. Of more use to head coach Kyle Shanahan than to his fantasy managers was Kittle's continued demonstration of his blocking skills in this one, springing both wide receiver Deebo Samuel for a touchdown and running back Christian McCaffrey on his 51-yard scamper. Through two weeks, Kittle has yet to beat fantasy projections but remains one of the few tight ends with a relatively safe floor. He'll look for his first touchdown of the year on Thursday night when the 49ers take on the New York Giants in their home opener.
