George Kittle Agrees To Restructured Contract

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle will be playing under a restructured contract in 2023. The team converted over $10 million of Kittle's base salary into a signing bonus. They also restructured the contract of offensive lineman Trent Williams. The moves were made in order to pay defensive end Nick Bosa, who agreed to a five-year, $170 million extension on Wednesday. Kittle (groin) returned to practice on Wednesday after missing the last few weeks while dealing with an adductor strain. His status for Week 1 is still uncertain.
